Two-level container residence on 3.17 acres: cantilevered volumes, an exterior W-truss carrying the upper floor, glass guardrails and an open social ground floor that opens directly onto the Texas landscape.
A custom home built around a hybrid system of shipping-container modules and steel framing. The lower floor anchors the social program — kitchen, two living rooms, gym and covered outdoor BBQ — while the upper floor floats on a cantilever and a pair of triangulated steel struts, holding the family room, primary bedroom suite, game room and a creative workshop. The plan deliberately separates an entrance/garage approach from an outdoor-living core so the house reads from arrival as a single sculptural object, then unfolds room-by-room from inside. Issued for bidding under Texas residential codes (2018 IRC, 2018 IPC, 2015 IBC/IMC, 2018 IFGC, 2015 IECC) with full architectural, MEP and structural coordination.
